To demonstrate that Gatorade is more than just a one size fits all sports drink, our sister agency MKTG built a pop-up bodega to educate consumers on the brand’s wide range of products. From protein bars to energy chews, the G-store showcased the brand’s complete sports fuel product lineup.
To enhance the otherwise static retail displays, Firstborn created an interactive AR experience that let users uncover, unlock and explore every aspect of its portfolio.
By scanning each product display with an AR iPad app, users immersed themselves in Gatorade’s brand universe and explored how each product’s attributes could help enhance their own athletic performance. The experience then led them to a secret back room where users could compete for prizes.
The AR experience brought Gatorade’s complete portfolio to life by letting consumers engage with product categories in a completely new way. The AR app became an educational tool that showcased the brand’s core focus on making athletes better.
