As the most "future-obsessed" agency network in the world, Dentsu was in need of a digital presence that reflected this unique vision. At the same time, the site had to showcase the network’s abilities in the Americas, Europe and Australia. The site had to be as stylish and seamless as possible. First impressions are important, after all.
The story of Dentsu’s past, present and future organizes content and the navigation. The Talent section highlights members of the Dentsu Network with quotes, big portraits and bios. Everyone—from CEO to junior designer—is represented on an equal level.
Parallax animation smoothly moves the user from one section of the site to another with a story. HTML keeps the transitions quick and easy. Clicking a link for more information leads the user sideways, rather than to another page. This way, there’s always a central hub to which a user can simply return. The experience was optimized for iPad with swipe interaction and a mobile version caters to smaller screens.
Another perk of the site is the agency locator that leverages the Google Maps API. New CSS3 features give the site custom fonts, rounded corners, animations and transitions.
