M&M’s was releasing a new egg-shaped chocolate candy in time for Spring. They wanted chocolate lovers everywhere to get excited for the new treats.
We decided to launch a massive internet-wide egg hunt. The "Join the Hunt" campaign invited consumers to find and collect PIN codes hidden online and inside specially marked packages of M&M’s eggs. Faux websites were created to stash hidden eggs, sending users on a wild goose chase around the web.
The more points a user redeemed, the better their chances were of winning thousands of instant prizes or one of the three grand prize getaways to New York, Las Vegas or Orlando. Users could track their point totals on our online hub.
