Thanks to the thriving partnership between Firstborn and Tribal DDB Chicago, Lowe’s spring campaign came to life online with the virtual neighborhood of Sunnyville. Complete with VO from Gene Hackman, the experience combines valuable product information with over 90 HD video clips and various interactive games that range from eat calculators to lawn mowing competitions.
Firstborn produced all of the site’s intricate 3D work, as well as the extensive 1080p footage. We handled every aspect of the video shoot, from casting and direction to post production and integration; but even our veteran studio team encountered a first when the animatronic bear arrived on set. In addition to the neighbors’ helpful hints, the site also features a full product catalog and a Wishlist for consumers to save, email or print out information about their favorite products. Users can even design and care for their very own lawn in Sunnyville with the virtual Yard Creator.
